Room types and prices
The resort has 26 motel rooms and 24 lodge rooms, so there is usually space for a couple, a family or a whole riding club. Current rates per night:
- River View Room, $150. Hastings River views and a kitchenette. Queen, single and trundle, sleeps up to 3.
- Spa Suite, $170. King bed, private deck and views to the ranges. Sleeps 2. Our pick for honeymoons and anniversaries.
- Valley and Mountain View Room, $130. Valley on one side, ranges on the other. Queen and single, sleeps up to 3.
- Lodge Rooms, from $70. Budget beds for riders and groups, with shared kitchen, laundry and bathrooms. Sleeps up to 4. Bring your own towels.
- Rainforest Cabin, $250 for 2 nights. Off grid on 12V solar, about a 20 minute drive deep into the property. Queen bed, sleeps 2. Bring your own linen. Two night minimum.
Extra guests are $10 to $30 a night depending on the room. Rates can change, so confirm the price when you book.
Breakfast, dinner and a drink
There is a licensed restaurant, cafe and bar on site, so you do not need to drive anywhere once you have parked. Add breakfast to any room: continental is $12 a person and a full cooked breakfast is $20 a person. On cold nights the wood fire is going in the Kookaburra Room.
Accommodation on the Oxley Highway
The resort sits about 60 km from Wauchope and about 110 km from Walcha, right where most people want a break on the range. Riders get undercover bike parking (see motorcycle accommodation). Vans and tents have their own powered and unpowered sites. Between stays there is a pool, a tennis court and guided 4WD tours.
