A whole-weekend wedding
The resort sits on 6,000 acres on the Hastings River, next to World Heritage listed rainforest reserve. It is far enough out that the wedding becomes the weekend, and close enough that guests can fly into Port Macquarie, about 80 km away.

Things to know when planning
Optus is the only network with coverage on site, so add that to your invitations. The same goes for directions. Guests with other carriers can still use the resort phone and email. There is no fuel at the resort, so out of town guests should fill up in Wauchope. The drive in on the Oxley Highway takes about an hour from Wauchope and about 1 hour 15 minutes from Port Macquarie. Guests staying a few days can book a guided 4WD or quad tour, swim in the river or look for platypus at dusk.
